Chronic/Terminal Ill Single Girl's Meds/Power
Donation protected
I'm a disabled S/W/F Millennial, stuck in a toxic HUD apt in Michigan for 10+ years, doing the impossible every day, with a dozen chronic & terminal illnesses & expected to do it all with no transportation, no support system & an absurdly low monthly disability income that's half consumed by my minimum med costs.
I spent my entire teen & young adult life as a medical lab rat, had 8 failed lumbar spine surgeries by age 24, all followed by complications, and total kidney failure & massive stress heart failure twice, at ages 27 & 30. I'm expected to die from another one any day, and my stress & anxiety are just getting worse over time.
My whole family chose to be absent & neglectful, ignoring any reality that's uncomfortable to them, except for an abusive, controlling mother I have to deal with myself, because everyone else left the area/state to live their lives & I'm the only one in my extended family never given any chance at a car or moving out of state myself.
I've had a small YouTube channel I've struggled to tell my story on for 7 years but had never monetized it, hoping I could get enough people to sign up for my Patreon ($2-5/month auto-pay) so that the monthly donations would be enough to keep my power on & I could focus what time I have left to get my channel going, tell my story, and maybe even be allowed to go experience anything in LIFE & the world, so this whole horrible existence wouldn't have been for nothing.
Unfortunately, my best efforts to promote & beg for Patreons has amounted to almost nothing, and I'm always on the verge of losing power, or am out of OTC meds & groceries. I frequently have to beg $20 at a time off whoever I can, but usually pay it back within 2 weeks. I've tried selling things whenever possible under my mom's ebay, but even with dozens of items listed, I haven't had much luck.
Any support will not only be forever appreciated, but will keep me alive another month! Thank you!
