Pamela's Cancer Treatment Fund

My sister, Pamela Ward was misdiagnosed for several years with TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder).  She went to several doctors over the years....continuously being misdiagnosed.  Finally on Mother's Day 2017, she was still in so much pain so she went to Obici Hospital to find out she had a mass on her Salivary Gland, which turned out to be a cancerous tumor.  We visited several surgeons in the last month who were not willing to risk surgery due to the tumor being too close to her carotid artery, which means the tumor is inoperable.  We were given no hope by all surgeons and oncologist seen .....so we decided to bring her to Santa Barbara, California for alternative treatments for the cancer.  Well, she has health insurance as she is a school counselor for Martin County Schools but unfortunately....health insurance does not cover alternative treatment.  Health insurance only covers surgery and chemotherapy and we were told, that was not an option.  Pamela needs help getting these treatments and follow up treatments, as she has already began....... but the treatments are extremely expensive.  Pamela has been a school counselor for several counties to include Halifax, Bertie and currently Martin County.  She has helped many people and now she needs help to survive.  No amount is too small and we appreciate anything you can do.  Thanks in advance....
