Palestine Awareness Documentary

Hello Everyone,

My name is Dan Frank. I recently took a self-paid trip to Palestine from America. I wanted to see first hand the Isreali-Palestine conflict up close and personal as well as the many beautiful ancient sites. I stayed just shy of three weeks in total and lived in Hebron near city center during my stay. I traveled extensively throughout the West Bank; including Hebron, Old City, Bethlehem, Ramallah, the Mediterranean and Dead Sea, with many trips to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.


I want to raise money for continued research, a Web Site, Blogs and then write an e-Book all on my time in Palestine from an average objective American citizen. My main goal is to write about all my experiences in the most truthful and objective manner possible.

Since Hebron, and especially Old City Hebron being a hot spot, I saw and witnessed many things during my three week stay. I also befriended many Palestinians and International  Volunteers ‌ that I spent a lot of time with, whether traveling, volunteering to teach English, learning Arabic or just a night out with friends.

Many know me from social media, I am quite active on facebook, starting to get more active on  Twitter ‌ and  Instagram ‌. For those that do know me, they know I am very passionate about the Palestinian issue and truth. After researching this topic for years, I decided it was time for me to go to see for myself. Once my plan was in placed, without hesitation, I packed my bags and was on my way.

The Middle East is a very fluid and dynamic place. Although I got an excellent view from both the Palestinian and Israeli side, there is much more time needed. During my time there I interviewed multiple Palestinian families, one for instance was on the infamous Shuhada Street, while others were in small villages under control of Israeli military guard watch towers. I heard many stories of what life is like living under a military occupation.

It is our goal to go back to Palestine as well as Gaza and get more information. I am the process of putting together a small team in Palestine and securing accommodations. Furthermore, our plan is to self-publish and self-fund as much as possible an in-depth documentary. It is highly doubtful I could get a video production company to even speak to me, and regardless, if by some miracle that would happen, We do not want to be controlled by anyone of what we can and cannot say. We want to write and produce truthfully and freely and not be held down by any possible corporate restrictions.

Being this is my first attempt at creating a documentary, expenses are an estimation, we figure at the very least the following: travel, accomadations, video production, graphic designer, Web Designer, legal matters, and unknowns that may come up. Another benefit of self publishing is saving on cost.

As I have mentioned, I have a large following on with approximately 6000 friends, if only one third contributed this would be very helpful, if approximately one half, if would obviously be more favorable. I have already made the first investment going on my first trip. And will continue investing as this has become a calling for me and many that are joining the team. And my passion to return and bring a team with me to astertain more information has only grown.

As my  Facebook ‌ friends know I shared many stories, pictures, videos and real time events during my time there. However, there is still additional information that's needs to be released, as well as the new information we will gather from returning visits and additional interviews.

Donations can be any amount, $5.00, $10.00, $20.00 and up, it all helps us to gather as much information as possible, and produce an honest accessment of what is truly happening in Palestine.
