Andy Hardin PVP Cycles Rebuild
Donation protected
“FIRE” with it’s all ending rage arrived unannounced in the wee morning hours of Saturday, 28 October, 2017, at 1457 S. Shelby Street, Louisville, KY -- a multipurpose building, occupied by “PVP Cycles” (a Vintage Motorcycle business), as well as the HOME of the owners, Andy & Patti Hardin. While it is a blessing there was no loss of human life, all things of a personal worth, history, and memories were destroyed. In regards to the “business” side of things, on the 1st floor, a collection of completely operational Vintage “Husqvarna”, and many other brand, motorcycles were destroyed. All the business equipment, related to Sales & Service of "All things Motorcycle", both off & on road, were lost, along with a massive inventory of Parts, Frames, Engines, Transmissions, etc., for building of future Vintage bikes, to be sold. Andy's personal Harley & BMW motorcycles, were also destroyed.
Sadly, while Insurance was in place, for the structure, the contents belonging to both the owner, and customer’s motorcycles being worked on currently, are not covered. To say that this puts Andy and Patti, in a most unfortunate position, would be an understatement.
It is the intent of this “Go Fund Me” page to try and raise at least $100K, to help my brother, Andy Hardin, rebuild his business, and his life! $100K is an amount, that might not even put a dent in the total costs, of demolition and restoration, but certainly would be a start in the right direction! The value of the lost iconic motorcycles will never be recovered, but with the help of any and all who can give from their hearts, it will make a difference in starting over, on both a business and personal level.
Please spread the word via all your social media means, and THANK YOU in advance for your help.
Sincerely, Tim Hardin, Brother to Andy Hardin.
