PROJECT 1000 - Empowering Girls through Sport

THE 1,000KM CHALLENGE

Hi I'm Natalie Dau (known as Rockstararms on social media) and on May 25, 2024 I will be doing a 1,000km solo run, covering 3 countries, and hopefully setting a Guinness World Record in the process. Starting in Hat Yai Thailand, continuing through the length of Malaysia, and finishing on June 5 in Singapore to celebrate Global Running Day. The run will consist of 2 marathons (85km) a day for 12 days straight. No rest days, no back up plan... it's do or die trying!

THE CAUSE

I am dedicating this run to raising money and awareness to support girls and women to be healthy, physically active and promote body positivity across cultures.

1. A portion of the proceeds will go to the 5 schools we are visiting in person in Thailand as part of the run, to make a positive impact to local girls in sport.

2. And then the global charity your donations will go to is GRLS. It is all about creating a better environment for young girls and women to exercise their rights to and through sport and play.
