Mean Green Team Needs A Truck

Learn more on the PLA website For more than 50 years the Point Loma Association has committed to beautifying and improving the neighborhoods of Point Loma and the Peninsula community. The Mean Green Team is the heart and soul of this effort. You have seen these tireless volunteers in their bright green vests planting, trimming, weeding and removing trash and graffiti in more than 18 areas of our Peninsula neighborhoods.
To keep these volunteers on the road requires a reliable and sturdy vehicle to carry tools, haul debris, transport cans and bottles for recycling and perform all the many services the volunteers provide each week of the year.
Our current truck has been on the road for two decades and is barely running. It goes in Reverse when put in Drive, in Neutral when put in Reverse and jolts like a bucking bronco.
We need your help to finance a replacement and keep the Mean Green Team in operation. With your generous support we will continue to Improve Our Neighborhoods. All donations will go toward the purchase of our new truck and keep the Mean Green Team doing its work.
