As you probably know one of the worst hurricanes to hit the panhandle has just destroyed thousands of homes and left even more without power. Hurricane Michael has turned these picturesque areas on the coast into a dangerous mess for the South’s agricultural community.

A disaster of this scale has prompted this Go Fund Me to support the family-owned businesses and the people that work hard every day to make sure you and your family get the food that you put on your table.

The profits of this Go Fund Me will go directly to Greg Abrams Seafood , who has been a pillar in the Southern community for decades. In one devastating day, the hundreds of families that work with Abrams Seafood are without basic resources and without work, as the boats and marina have been moored and destroyed.

Not only did Hurricane Michael destroy the Florida community’s infrastructure, but this disaster decimated hundreds of lives.

Our team is on the ground every day of the week passionately working to support local agriculture so tomorrow, we’re hitting the road early in the morning to take generators, dry goods and more to aid this family-owned business, their family of workers in order to keep your fresh, local food coming to your homes.

Portable generators are needed to get this community and business up and running again and dry goods are needed to help these families. One generator is around $500.

We all rely on small and family-owned businesses to keep the food on our tables, so please share this Go Fund Me with your friends, family, and your neighbors.
