Since 2004, PACE Academy has made positive contributions in the lives of students, their families, and the community at large. Serving students in grades nine through twelve, PACE helps students navigate the demands of high school. Students learn to integrate skills and talents in community workplaces. Students emerge and graduate from PACE with increased skills in self-advocacy, self-determination, responsibility, and independence.
The mission of PACE Academy is to support the academic growth, emotional development, and professional readiness of all students. Given a unique population with over 50% of students served with IEPs, PACE engages learners through creative and research-based methods. Hundreds of families in Chapel Hill, Durham, Wake, Chatham, Alamance, and Orange counties have relied on the school to prepare students for a productive and successful future in college and in the workplace.
With your financial support, PACE will continue to increase the learning opportunities & provide expanded learning experiences for students - especially those who are at-risk for academic failure. PACE Academy recognizes all students for the strengths they possess; works alongside students and their families to develop the 21st Century skills required in today’s workplaces; and encourages students’ integration in all aspects of the community.

PACE has served students and families of North Carolina since 2004. Unlike many charter schools across the nation, PACE serves ANY student who applies -- no matter their ability, medical diagnosis, or previous school history. Together, we create a unique learning community that affords every child an opportunity to succeed.
Today, over 50% of PACE students are exceptional children - individuals with learning disabilities, autism, cognitive impairments, & mental health diagnoses; and, they are thriving as a result of the caring, knowledgeable staff and individualized curricular offerings. Whether the student is preparing for a transition to a career, job training, military service, or college, he/she finds the support for a successful transition upon graduating from high school.

Donations are accepted at this site, and can be sent directly to PACE at 308 NC 54, Carrboro, NC 27510. All donations are tax deductible as PACE is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
