Help Save Ozzy – My Mischievous Orange Baby

If you know me, you know my animals are my whole life — all 10 of them. I would do anything for them, no matter what it takes. (Even begging strangers for money ) Today, I’m asking for help for one of my youngest, Ozzy.

Ozzy is a rambunctious, one-year-old orange troublemaker who’s always into something he shouldn’t be. He’s full of life, personality, and mischief — the kind of cat who can make you laugh even on the worst days. His favorite game is fetch and he has a favorite mini squishmallow he carries with him everywhere.

Recently, Ozzy’s curiosity got the best of him. He chewed and swallowed foam flooring, which caused a dangerous/deadly intestinal blockage and pancreatitis. At first, our regular vet didn’t detect the blockage. But after his condition worsened, we rushed him back, and they sent us straight to an emergency/specialist vet. There, ultrasounds revealed the blockage, and they quickly began treatment to save his life.

The emergency care, ultrasounds, xrays, hospitalization, and surgery have already totaled $13,331 — and that’s if there are no further complications. They also took biopsies of his liver and intestines (they believe the inflammation is just from the blockage ). I unfortunately just don't have that much money laying around

Ozzy is still just a baby with his whole life ahead of him. He’s strong, but my bank account is not. Any amount you can give — no matter how small — will go directly toward paying his medical bills and making sure he gets the treatment he needs.
