Otway Family Mission Trip to Uganda

In February 2013, the Otway family will be a part of the Mission Team from ALARM International Ministries traveling to Kampala, Uganda to help build Shiloh Junior School.

In August of this year, my husband and I gave a $50 donation to Pastor Joshua Kuteesa to help fund the school at the Mukono Prayer Palace in Africa. Little did we know that two months later, we would be offered an opportunity to travel to Kampala, Uganda to help build it! 

As you can imagine, a trip like this for a family of five requires tremendous financial support. In order to go on this mission trip we need to raise $2,650 per person "“ Total cost: $13,250. We are asking you to support the Otway family in this life-changing mission with a contribution of $50 or more.  Of course any amount would be a greatly appreciated. Your donation will fund five round-trip plane tickets from Tallahassee, Florida to Uganda, and eight days of lodging at a bed and breakfast for missionary groups.  

Through this effort and your support, we will touch the lives of over 250 young people who are desperate to learn.  We will also impact thousands of individuals in various social and economic conditions through workshops and programs during this Mission Trip, which is being organized by Pastor Kuteesa. 

The Otway family hopes you will see the value in what we will accomplish. Our goal is to help strengthen and encourage the children and their families in Kampala, Uganda. Your support will help us leave this community better equipped to thrive and carry on their educational and spiritual goals long after we leave.
