Open your Hearts for Elisse

Elisse is an amazing, funny and very cheerful 2 year old who underwent open heart surgery on September 17,2012 for an ASD repair with two anomalous veins. After continual monthly and at times weekly doctors appointments, we are asking all her Facebook page fans and everyone who has yet to know of her story to help us to continue her treatment. After Elisse lost her 3 year old brother in November 2011 to interstitial lung disease, her doctors have been keeping a close eye on her developing health issues. As of right now her repair is still intact but we are now having unexplained lung issues and our insurance is not willing to cover the only medicine she can have. On top of all the unwillingness to help from her insurance, we are will be having to make another trip up to Boston. We also have to pay out of pocket fees for blood work and all visits. As her mother I am also unable to work due to all of the appointments and her continually getting sick. She isn't allowed to be in daycare and we very rarely allow her out to avoid becoming any sicker.  We ask that anyone who can please donate to help her continue to enjoy life and allow her to grow up. Please share our story and allow this angel to prosper! We can't fathom the thought of losing another child because our insurance refuses to help cover cost Thank you all!!!
