Send Santino to the Olympics!

Donation protected

South Sudanese athlete Santino Kenyi represented the youngest country in our world in the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Since then South Sudan has fallen deeper into war. He has lost family members, and the turmoil has made it impossible for him find money to support his passion for running. He receives neither food, clothing or even a place of training, yet everyday he is on the streets of Juba. Running.

When finds funds he uses it to travel to compete, to stay in the running for his next goal: The 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

Thanks so support from this campaign he has been able to train in the safety of Iten Kenya with some of the worlds best runners. He recently won a bronze medal in the Uganda National Championships in 1500m and will compete for South Sudan in Nigeria at the Africa Senior Championships.

Now he is starting a new journey to a college in Kansas where he will study to become a nurse and train even harder to be competitive in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

$3000 will cover the transport, insurance, and other costs needed to help him travel to America and start up a new life.

I know Santino after working for years in South Sudan and having helped make a film about him. As his friend I will be responsible for receiving the funds in the US and transferring the money directly to him in South Sudan for his expenses and training costs.
