Olivia's Brain Tumor Surgery & Recovery

On February 7th, 2014, Olivia's life changed in a drastic way. After having unexplained vision loss and migraines, she was diagnosed at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland with a brain tumor "“ specifically a non-hormone producing pituitary macro adenoma. Secondarily, she has developed Addison's disease. The tumor is pushing on her optic nerve to both eyes and has completely engulfed her pituitary gland and now beyond into her brain. She is scheduled to have the tumor removed on April 17th. We are optimistic that Olivia will have a speedy recovery, however, she will need help at home for the first 2 weeks and will not be able to be left alone or able to care for her daughters Ava, 3 or Maci, 5 months old.

We are raising money to offset medical expenses "“ as there are quite alot, due to all the pre-testing etc. as well as Olivia's deductible of $13,000 (yes, not a mistake - $13,000 for affordable private insurance deductible!) Like many others, Olivia and Garrett have been making ends meet, but this unexpected medical crisis has the potential of completely destroying them financially.

We are asking for any type of donation, big or small, to help us pay for medical, travel, day care and living expenses for the surgery and after care.
