Life saving surgery for our newest addition
While visiting family out of state, our new puppy Olaf got into a compost bin and ate some ears of corn that required emergency surgery to remove. Between all the xrays, medication, surgery and boarding, we’re looking at a very hefty vet bill of $4,800. The clinic gave us resources to help offset the cost, but seeing as how we’re not at home, all those resources are local and we do not qualify. Seeing as how we just purchased a new home, this unexpected expense is more than we have saved for our emergency fund. Our goal is set to help pay off the credit card we opened for the procedure before we start having to pay significant interest fees. Anything anyone can donate to help out will be very much appreciated and help to relieve the immediate financial stress this is causing our family.
