We have hit a rough patch in our journey, seemingly one thing after another. I am a mother of three amazing boys- 12, 7 and 4. My 7 year old has autism, spinal cord cancer and xxy chromosomes. He faces a lot of challenges in his daily life that take their toll on the rest of the family although he faces them like a true warrior. Teaching us all lessons of strength along the way. A couple of weeks ago, I lost my job due to abruptly losing childcare for my youngest. It was scary and anxiety inducing but I knew we would make it. Monday, I got in an accident with my youngest with me and our car, already on it’s last leg, was totaled. Two nights ago, our home caught on fire, the fire hit a gas line and within minutes was completely engulfed. All six of us (our dog and cat included) are safe. Shaken, and emotionally drained but alive and together. Because we were struggling, we didn’t have insurance. We have truly lost it all. We are in need of a home, childcare, a car, a job and everything to go in a home. Immediate needs are gift cards (Target or Hy-Vee would be perfect) to help get us necessities, monetary donations to help us stay in the hotel while we find a new place to call home, lots of prayers, dog and cat food, beds, bowls, treats, toys. Soon we will need absolutely everything, trash cans, cleaning products, movies, toys, games, beds, curtains, sheets, picture frames, more prayers, hair cuts, school supplies, pots, pans, silverware, pillows...... I do have a couple of friends helping by offering their homes as donation spots I can give you an address if you message me. The boys sizes are#1- adult medium and a 31 waste and size 8 shoe#2- kid medium 8/10 size 3 shoe#3- small 5/6 shoe size is an 11 Thank you. Truly, thank you, to everyone helping us get through this. We wouldn’t be able to stay together without your generosity. Without each other we are not whole.
