The Ocampo Family House Fire Fund

Around 2:00 a.m., on Saturday morning, January 20th, the Ocampo Family’s house caught on fire. Thankfully, the 10 year old boy Antonio woke up to the sound of the fire alarms and woke his father, Arturo, and both were able to get our without any injuries. Tania, and her daughter Alondra, were in El Paso at the time of the fire. Alondra (6 years old) had just been discharged from the hospital where she was admitted with bronchitis. Sadly, the family pets did not survive the fire as it had consumed the area where they were sleeping.
The Family is overwhelmed by the love and support from friends and family. In an effort to help, we are hopeful that you will consider a donation, big or small, so that they can start to rebuild and get their lives back on track. Your support will be incredibly appreciated as Arturo, Tania, and the kids try to cope with this loss.

Alrededor de las 2:00 a.m., en la mañana del sábado 20 de enero, la casa de la Familia Ocampo se incendió. Afortunadamente, Antonio, de tan solo 10 años se despertó con el sonido de las alarmas de incendio y despertó a su padre, Arturo, y ambos pudieron salir rapidamente sin lesiones. Tania y su hija Alondra estaban en El Paso en el momento del incendio. Alondra (6 años) acababa de ser dada de alta del hospital donde ingresó con bronquitis. Lamentablemente, las mascotas de la familia no sobrevivieron al fuego ya que habían consumido el área donde estaban durmiendo.
La familia está abrumada por el amor y el apoyo de amigos y familiares. En un esfuerzo por ayudar, esperamos que consideren una donación, grande o pequeña, para que puedan comenzar a reconstruir y volver a encarrilar sus vidas. Su apoyo será increíblemente apreciado ya que Arturo, Tania y los niños tratan de sobrellevar esta pérdida.

As is policy for transparency of this site, my name is Liliana Sanchez and I am the sister of Tania Ocampo. I live near Seattle, Washington and have since driven down to Texas to be with my sister and her family. The intention of this gofundme account is to gather donations for my sister's family so they can rebuild their home and sustain themselves during this trying time. The money will be available to the Ocampo family only and will be transferred to their bank account when ready. Again, thank you for your donations!
