The OVS Booster’s Club is starting a Ski program at the Orwell Village School!
Our mission is to offer and expose ALL students in our school to downhill skiing. Skiing is a wonderful sport that gets our students out and moving during the winter. Skiing is a sport that many Vermonters do not have access to during childhood.
Our Students will be participating in the PICO Mountain Junior Explorers Ski Program.
The program includes 6 half day sessions, each with ski rentals and a 90 min ski lesson!
This program will benefit every student from the complete beginner to some of our more advanced students who have been skiing for years. The staff at PICO have developed a wonderful program for all ability levels.
This program is Brand New for us in Orwell and we need your help!
We hope to raise all the funds to be able to provide this program to our students at NO COST!
This is such a opportunity for our students one that they will remember for a lifetime!
The program begins January 22 and we have to have our funding to PICO by January 7th.
The cost is $60 per student for the ski program.
We have 115 students and will also need to cover the busing to PICO for 6 sessions.
If you are able to sponsor one student ($60), half a student, multiple students or even just one dollar. Everything adds up and brings us closer to our goal of our kids on the mountain!
