Let us share our dream with you - to open our own Bed & Breakfast. Are visions of cluttered shelves, Victorian decor and floral patterned quilts dancing in your mind? Now, picture our B&B which will exude contemporary coziness from the moment you arrive - think dim lighting, scents of amber and wood, fireplaces, claw foot soaking tubs, an outdoor fire pit, locally sourced meats, produce & fruit - a sanctuary where you can do as little or as much as you like. You have arrived to our dream...stay awhile!
As Millennials, we understand the desire for authentic travel experiences. Travelers want to leave a place with a sense of what it would be like to live there. Inherently, that emotional response starts and ends with your choice of accommodation. Our B&B will provide the authenticity & privacy of staying at an Airbnb, yet deliver the level of service & amenities one would receive in a luxury hotel. Despite our instinctual Millennial vision of what a B&B should be, we intend to customize our guest experience to appeal across generations.
Never ask for something for nothing! In exchange for your contribution of $200, you will receive a reservation certificate for a one luxurious night at the B&B. Supporters who give $1,000 get to stay the week! Your support will mean everything to us - not only will it help us build reservations & occupancy but will hold us accountable to keep moving forward. Just think how impressive it will be when we take our "Dream Builder" list to the bank seeking financing & show them how many guests we already have lined up.
In 2018, our focus will be fine-tuning our business plan, scouting locations on the East Coast and saving 40% of our income. Over the next 3 years, we will be working diligently to turn our dream into a reality & we need supporters who encourage dream builders. As a supporter, you will receive a bi-annual newsletter with updates on the progress of our venture together. All contributions received will be held in an escrow account called the Dream Fund, which has been established with American Express in a high yield savings account.
