Help David Recover in New Bern NC

Hurricane Florence destroyed David's car and caused thousands of dollars of damage to our house and belongings. Not only do we need help with the car replacement but the ongoing repair bills for all the damage are continuing to go up. We are not eligible for any homeowners insurance coverage for any of the storm.
David is the guy that everyone loves. He always a smile and a helping hand. He is not a guy who asks for help but this Hurricane has hit us so hard and at the same time, I have pneumonia and am unable to help much with the clean-up process.
So I thought if you could see the real person that you are helping, that you would know that your donation truly was used in the way that it was intended.

What we need:
We need to replace his car. His car is totaled and it is a Honda Civic Hybrid. He is on the road 2-4 hours daily commuting for work so a hybrid is very helpful to cut costs.
Cost:
We estimate the cost to be close to 15K and plan to find something used but not local due to all the flooded cars. We plan to use the money received here directly towards our disaster recovery costs.

Now about David
The guy that loves his family and friends like no other. He has worked day and night since the storm without complaint. Even when he can barely move a muscle he still finds the energy to help a neighbor.

The storm hit on our 1 year wedding anniversary! We are so lucky to have each other and our family.
