At the age of 34, Neftali Negron is terminally ill due to congestive heart failure. He has undergone 10 heart surgeries since birth. More recently he had a hospital stay of six weeks to determine his eligibility for a heart transplant. Unfortunately he did not qualify due to liver problems and the doctors stated that was his only option of surviving. Neftali is now at home on hospice care to spend time with his family which consist of Nef, our 2 year old son Edward and myself. This is a catastrophic life changing event.
