Needing for Nick

The local music scene along the Jersey Shore has kept locals and tourists alike visiting the boardlwaks to enjoy some of the best talent around for decades. No matter what town along the Shore, Nick Massero has added to the legacy of the many venues up and down the coast. Starting with Brian Kirk & the Jirks and Donavan's Reef, Nick can be seen standing alongside Bruce Springsteen for the infamous appearance he and Patti made. As the bassist for the Mike Dalton Band & Jamie Brown Band, Nick has left 1000's of friends, family, and visitors of the Shore smiling after enjoying a show. No matter who is asked, the response is always the same when it comes to Nick ~ he makes you happy and have a good time.

Several weeks ago, Nick was diagnosed pancreatic cancer. He will be undergroing surgery on September 10th to see how aggresive the cancer is. For those who know Nick, the thing he does best, is give to to others who are in need. That is why his friends and family would like to return the favor and pay it forward to someone so selfless and charitable. Nick is more than a friend to those who know him, he is family, being a father to a wonderful son himself. Without any health insurance, any contribution will assist Nick and is family tremendously.  

Please find it in your heart to help someone who for over 25 years has shown us how to enjoy life along the Jersey Shore by making sure he put a smile on our faces. Even in this turbulent time, Nick is staying positive and focusing on his friends and family being happy.
