Natalie’s Back Surgery support needs

Update on Natalie and upcoming surgery ❤️
Last week Natalie saw her orthopedic doctor and had Xrays taken of her spine. The curve in her spine has worsened from 55° to 90° in an 8 month period and has started twisting.
This is probably why there was so much difficulty with her last injection (3 attempts/dates, 2 with fluoroscopy, & from what we counted around 30 pokes in her back/spine).
Time and again she reminds us muscles aren’t the only way to define strength.
All that in mind we’ve moved surgery to correct her scoliosis up July to April 4th (Next week! ). They’ll straighten her spine as much as possible, fuse it, and rods placed next to her spine.
It’s a 4-5 day hospital stay and the several weeks sitting at a specific angle all day to allow everything to heal well.
In addition to all of that our accessible van is in need of repairs. It’s our only way to transport Natalie’s 350lb power chair.
We’ve had so many people ask how they can help.
Prayers - for Natalie, her medical team, for us as parents, and for our boys. Aside from our practical and spiritual needs, we are praying for a God to use this for His glory.
Financially - We’ve had to make multiple trips to Iowa City and back. Each one costing between $75-$100 for gas and food stops.
The only vehicle that can transport Natalie’s power wheelchair also needs multiple repairs. $250-$1000
All of the extra added medical expenses, time off of work, care for our other 2 kiddos while we are gone and the unknown expenses that we just don’t know.
Any amount you can give is so greatly appreciated by our family.
