For my baby girl - Natalie

Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,

As you all may now know, my baby girl Natalie was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer on September 11th, called "Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma". There are approximately only 1,226 cases a year and over 62% are women.  After 6 months of  not knowing what was causing her weight loss and concerns with her change in speech, we now know the diagnosis. We TRUST in our Lord Jesus Christ for his grace, mercy and healing hand to be placed on Natalie during this battle.  A HUGE thank you to our family and friends for your ongoing support and prayers.

I've been helping Natalie all I can like a father should with the gracious assistance of my wife, but now I am asking for acts of kindness and generosity. I pray you find it in your hearts to help her with monetary contributions while she fights the long battle ahead.  Her first appointment in Houston is scheduled for 2nd week of October.  We will be with her for a week long session of appointments and testing. We will know more and be able to update you after these first appointments in Houston.  100% of your donations will assist with her ongoing medical bills and support during this difficult time.

Natalie started a great job in January. She is doing awesome, received an  amazing review, we are so proud!  Unfortunately, she will be limited on the time she can have off for the treatments scheduled.  It's possible that some of these costs will be out of pocket along with her medical deductibles and procedure co-pays.  Her medical costs are just beginning. Needless to say, it has all been overwhelming, so much to take in , information and emotion.  Treatment will be aggressive per her doctors.  We pray for strength and courage.

Natalie is a loving mother of 2 amazing girls.  Andrew is a great support.  Natalie is a fighter; she is strong!  She is also a private individual and I'm hoping she understands why I am reaching out to you on her behalf.  She is such a giving person, ALWAYS willing to help others.  My visits with her and the family have been filled with tears, love and  joy.  We've had time to meditate; time to share, time to pray. Our relationship has grown even deeper.  Both of my girls (Natalie and Rachel) mean the world to me.  I love and treasure them dearly.  I pray daily for their well being, families and futures.  She has shown courage and is a blessing to me, her girls, Andrew,  family and friends.

After her diagnosis,  my daughter Natalie posted this on Facebook:

"I'VE BEEN BATTLING WITH HEALTH ISSUE'S FOR SOME TIME NOW BUT TODAY IS THE DAY I WILL NEVER FORGET, AS I'VE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH A HORRIBLE DISEASE. I REFUSE FOR IT TO BEAT ME! SO, I SAY TO MYSELF: I AM ALLOWED TO CRY, I'M ALLOWED TO SCREAM, BUT I'M NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE UP! YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE CANCER."

Anything you can do would be a blessing to her (now or a even a month or so from now) and greatly appreciated by us. If you cannot, we understand - we believe in the POWER OF PRAYER my Brothers and Sisters - please keep praying for her and her family.  We love you all. PLEASE  continue to pray for strength, courage, her faith, and hope.  (Ada and I are NOT on Facebook, so I have asked my sister Joanne to help me with this post - but we will be monitoring it and keeping you all up to date)

Many blessings to each and every one of you,
Ernie
