Support a Courageous Momma

Friends- I am asking for your support to help a courageous momma find a new home. 

She is a single immigrant mom raising her two beautiful children in East Harlem. 

She's been in our lives for the past couple of months and has shown incredible courage to move forward confidently on her own. Her children are both in gifted and talented programs at the school and she's trying to keep them there so they can continue to thrive and so they have more stability.

This past year has been incredibly difficult for her and her children as she made the decision to leave an abusive and alcoholic partner and to raise her children on her own. 

She is now being forced out of her home in East Harlem because the lease is under her ex-husband's name and he has failed to pay their rent, as he promised to do. 

We need your immediate support to help her find a new apartment. Your donations will help her by: 

* providing a security deposit for a new rental 
* help cover moving expenses into a new home 

Please take a moment and help me support this incredible woman. We all need a little help sometimes and your donation will go a long way to helping her find safety and stability. Your donation will support her courageous decision.
