NPA Staff & Teacher Appreciation Drawing & Events
Teaching in 2020 – what a challenge! NPA’s parent volunteer group – the Community Enrichment Committee – doesn’t want social distancing to prevent us from reminding our great teachers and staff how much we appreciate them.
To make this happen, we need your support.
Our first appreciation event of the year will cost $630. Starting in September, the CEC is launching a weekly “So Grateful 4 U" Drawing.
During the all-school faculty meetings on Wednesdays, superintendent Dave Lykins will draw the names of two teachers or staff members. The winners will each receive a $20 gift card to a local restaurant and note of appreciation on behalf all NPA families.
CEC funds will be added to a donation of $630 from Midstate Energy, the company working on the environmental upgrades to our campus. (Thank you, Midstate Energy!)
Combining these amounts allows us to purchase enough $20 gift cards so that each staff and faculty member will get one throughout the year. (The drawings will continue into the Spring).
We know times are tough right now. But if you can, please consider making a donation to this fund. Any amount is appreciated.
BREAKING NEWS: Due to the rapid response of our community, we quickly passed our initial goal of $630. (I wish every NPA employee could have seen all those donations flying in.)
As a result, we have extended our goal and any additional funds collected will go into other teacher appreciation. I will send out specifics as those events occur. Thank you so much!
