My Angel

i'm starting this campaign on behalf of my close friend and co-worker victor czornyj in his time of need. my good friend has fallen upon hard times and this money will be used to help him. last week vic lost the love of his life stacy to a courageous 5 year battle with breast cancer. over the past 5 years, victor has brought us on his journey with her. from their marriage to the very end we have all been by his side. victor is an incredible man, who is always doing for others. victor is the kind of man every man should strive to be! victors love for stacy was enviable, their love was stronger then any cancer. stacy was his hero and he worshipped her. he was always so strong for her, but he now needs our help. they have an over whelming amount of medical bills and they are starting to pile up. stacy was an amazing woman, who's strength and determination was truly inspiring and our lives are a little richer having met her. stacy was only in her early 30's when insurance companies didn't want to approve a mammogram but she knew something was wrong and persisted. she finally got it approved and was tested, and then came the words you never want to hear "you have cancer". stacy fought a long hard battle with hormonal breast cancer. this diagnosis was going to take them on a very long journey together. it ultimately spread to her brain, and lymph nodes. she endured countless treatments of radiation and chemotherapy which put her into early menopause, but due to it being hormonal there was nothing she could do. she experimented with trial medications and studies but nothing could grab hold of her cancer. they were able to get hold of the brain tumors by surgery but it was all too much. sadly, on november 18th while surrounded by loved ones stacy was called to heaven. she is now an angel looking over us all, but most importantly over victor and her son tommy. last year victors house, which has been in the family for years was badly damaged by superstorm sandy, when they took on 18feet of water. they used to have a dog grooming business in their garage for when stacy was feeling up to it but they lost that. they had to temporarily stay with family, but due to stacy's medical issues , they couldn't go far. they were able to do quick, temporary fixes to get stacy home but as stacy's cancer progressed the repairs had to be pushed to the back burner. victor has been trying to work the entire time of stacy's illness , but as you can imagine it's been very hard. he tried to work his schedule around her treatments , but he did lose a lot of time at work. he returned to work this week even though he didn't have to. our company managed to give him another paid week off, he he requested that time be donated to our other co-worker who was recently injured in an accident. that is just the type of person vic is, always caring for the next person. vic would come to work every day, smiling and making the best out of each day. he'd always make it a point to see how everyone was doing, and genuinely cared about his fellow co-workers and friends. victor is still raising stacy's son and needs our help! vic's house needs repairs, his washing machine broke over the weekend and needs to be replaced. although stacy is no longer with us, her medical bills are still coming in. she spent her last two weeks in the hospital so the bills are overwhelming. the holidays are fast approaching and although he is 17 years old, this is tommy's first christmas without his mother. please make a donation in any amount, big or small!!
