Carnegie Hall (NYC) Choir Tour

Everyone knows that my love for singing is beyond words and out of this world and with the new year here, it’s definitely kicked off with a bang. There’s a really exciting opportunity I’ve been presented with and would like to do everything in my power to make this opportunity a reality & I really need your love and support.

As a memeber of the Chemeketa Community Intermediate Choir 10 students have been selected to represent Salem, Oregon at the Lincoln Center In New York City!!!!! April 15th at 8pm and I’m one of the hopefuls that gets to go along. Super stoked to even be considered as one of Salem’s finest.

This trip isn’t going to be cheap and so this experience is going to be one for the books!! I will have the privilege of singing under Grammy-Winning composer and conductor #EricWhitacre who is a well known musician of our time. His concerts have been performed all over and throughout the world by millions of amateur and professional musicians alike.

I like to think of Eric Whitacre as today’s Bach or Beethoven, a real composer who captures the essence of ones soul in the music he creates. When I sing his music I feel free like I’m soaring (The Best Feeling In The World) as if I’m unstoppable like I can do anything I set my mind too.

This trip will be a solid week in NYC In preparation for the performance on the 15th of April & I can’t wait to be apart of this concert. Help me make this a reality. Let’s prove that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.
