Maureen has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer which has spread to her lung. Maureen has been unable to work because of the devasting effects of "Red Devil" chemotherapy which is ravishing her body leaving her weak and often hospitlized! Maureen will have to undergo an expensive surgery/surgeries after completion of her chemo.
Maureen has lost her job in the nursing field caring for sick people only to find herself sick and unable to care for herself physically and monentarily... her medical bills, copayments, medications and housing expenses are mounting up. We as Americans work hard, pay taxes and do the right thing only to be shot down for state assistance when we are in need of assistance it's devastating and honestly it's just not fair!
Maureen has loving sisters that are helping the best they can by helping pay for some of Maureens expenses, but their money can only stretch so far! I know she would help anyone that needed her, so I am reaching out for everyone that knows Moe and even those who do not to reach out from the bottom of your heart with a donation large or small to help her get through this devastating illness. No one wants to admit they need help, people are embarrassed or full of pride but the last thing Maureen needs to worry about is "how is she going to save her home or pay for her medication" Every little bit helps and to exceed our goal would be a blessing!
