The Choice Is Ours
WHAT WE DO AND WHY: Recognition is a cinematic work in
the progress that sounds an alarm bell about the marriage of social
media and gun violence.
The disastrous consequences that often
result blur the line between what we once could have only imagined
and the all-too-frequent mayhem and death that now bleed
seamlessly into our world.
In Recognition, protagonist Charlie exercises the human agency that remains
within our reach. His every person’s struggle signifies that stopping this madness is
the key to our human sustainability.
Our message seeks to unify, not polarize. Our agenda is not political. Recognition
addresses issues that affect us all. And we all want the best possible future.
WHO WE ARE: Our volunteer production team reflects a range of talents and energies, but
our members share a common goal. In our day jobs we work in tech, finance, and education.
Our team of young people comprises students and young graduates who through Recognition
are raising their voices for a safer, saner future for their generation and those to come.
