Mother of 5 Fights Cancer!

This is my sister, Angela, and her family. At the young age of 30, she is
the mother of 5 children ages 9, 5, 4, and twins 18 months. Her and her husband have created a beautiful family!
A few months ago Angie got admitted to the ER for what they thought was another episode of painful kidney stones (she went twice before that year after lying in agony on the floor). The scans didn't reveal anything, and the doctors sent her away with pain medication once again.
This last visit was different, though. The doctors suspected lymphoma cancer. After removing a piece of her lymph node, they concluded the cancer was in her pancreas. It had also spread to her lymphatic system, the circulatory system of vessels that filter blood and transport white blood cells to fight infection. More tests showed that the cancer was Stage 3-4, further along than they thought.
Angela's cancer is a rare form of pancreatic cancer called Metastatic Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the pancreas (more famously known as the one Steve Jobs lost his battle to). She needs aggressive chemo and just finished her 2nd round of 4-6 rounds to be completed.
After chemo, she does not want to do radiation. Already very sick and weak, she has found an alternative treatment plan: Gene Therapy Treatment at the Burzynski Clinic in Houston, TX. There, they will test her biopsy and find the mutated genes that the cancer originated from while not harming the healthy cells. The treatment will be specialized to her DNA and specific case of cancer. Dr. Burzynski has helped over 8,000 cancer patients and authored over 300 scientific publications. He was the first in his class and one of the youngest at age 25 to receive his PhD in Poland. He even has almost 250 patents on medical inventions.
She would start treatment Spring 2014 that will cost $30-$40,000. I would like to try to raise half of that by then. They take cash only, no insurance or payment plan. One regular chemo session alone is costing her $10,000. This treatment will cost the price of just 1 round of chemo! I know this is a lot of money to raise but I believe in miracles! She has 5 beautiful children that need her, a loving support system and a whole lot of life left to live!!
