Morgans' Dream of Dance

Dance is life for Morgan. His journey to become a professional dancer is about to take off. In April of 2019 he blew the adjudicators away with his 10 performances at the Central Alberta Dancework Competition. His prize: a $2000 scholarship to dance in the Be Discovered dance performance at Disney World.  Even with this amazing gift, this week long event at Disney World, will still cost this 15 yr old dance prodigy upwards of $10,000.  At the tender age of 3 years old his career in the world of dance began. His parents found a home for him, under the tutelage of Susan Laing at the Airdrie Dance Academy. He started out watching his older sister, Mackenzie as she learned dance from Miss Susan. At the age of 4 he was finally able to join the class. His talent and persona blew up the studio and stage with his performance of Gummy Bear. Fast forward a decade later, now Morgan spends almost every night of the week at the studio in one of 6 classes. As well as numerous other classes as the teachers aid.  His range encompasses Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, & Folk dances, but there is nothing stopping him from learning more.  Morgan has an opportunity to follow his fathers' dancer footsteps and perform on the big stage at Disney world this December.  Susans phenominal teaching has taken him to the centre stage, this opportunity will take him beyond that. The scholarship is just the open door, with your help he can step through it.
