Moose Matters!

Donation protected
Hi, I'm Moose. I'm a 9 month old happy,  healthy pup, who was recently hit by a car while walking on a leash over a cross-walk.

My back legs took most of the impact. My skin was split open exposing raw muscle and  deep lascerations that required several staples. My wounds are healing well, but I'm still uncomfortable and the vet says I may be suffering from small hair-line fractures. Mirasculously, I didn't experience any major breaks! My mom says I'm super-pup!

For the first few days I was unable to walk or move at all and depended on my mom to carry me to my food and water bowl and she had to help hold me up when I had to go outside to the little pups room!

Now I walk  with a limp (my Mom says I just have swag and not to let the other doggys tease me!), but I can't run, jump, or play like I used to. Before the accident I was Mom's little running buddy, and we ran almost 10 miles every week! I really miss it, and miss going to the dog park with all of my friends. I hope with time I'll  be feeling my old self again and able to romp and play with my buddies.

The vet says I'm very lucky to have realitively few injuries, and I should look forward to a full recovery!

Currently, my medical bills have tallied up to $800, but there are upcoming vet visits who's costs have yet to be determined. My mom wishes she could pay it all on her own, but as a single puppy mother who lives by herself in Baltimore, she simply does not have the available funds to cover such unexpected costs. She  was forced to take unpaid days off work  to  take care of me and is stuggling to make sure I get the care I need. If you can help us out we both would be so thankful!

XO
Moose

Side Note:

As of right now the driver responsible is not being held accountable and refuses to provide insurance information or financial assistance of any kind to Moose.

Unfortunately, the police are unable to conduct any sort of investigation based on the limited information on the driver.

Eye witnesses came forward and said they saw the driver fail to stop at a pedestrian cross-walk, clearly breaking the law. It is unfortunate that Moose is paying for this negligent driver's mistake.

If you have it in your heart to donate to his medical fund, it will help ensure that he continues to get the best medical care possible. He and his owner are incredibly thankful for any help you can give.
