Performing at Disneyland

Hey everyone, My name is Monique and I live in Flagstone. I am currently a full time student at Central Queensland University. As my studies demand flexible availability to attend classes I divide my spare time between volunteer work for the Cancer Council Queensland, where I am a committee member and fundraiser, and doing dance classes, to give me a break from study, maintain a healthy activity and mix with like-minded people who also enjoy dancing.   Throughout this year I will be fundraising and running a few different activities to help cover the cost for me to be able to travel to the US and perform at Disneyland with my dance team. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity as it does cost a lot and it's not everyday you're invited to perform at such an amazing public location. As many of you will know, I'm not the most outgoing or confident person, but when I'm performing I feel confident and comfortable. I absolutely love and enjoy dancing, and it has helped immensely with my anxiety and confidence. I am very excited but also nervous to perform at such an iconic location. My goal is to raise about $7,500 which is the amount needed to cover flights, accommodation, passports, visas, spending money and transport whilst participating in this once in a lifetime opportunity. Participating in this opportunity will be an amazing experience for me and I would appreciate any help you can give me in order to make this happen.
