Wyntre has been named as a State Finalist in the 2013 National American Miss Pennsylvania State Pageant!
The National American Miss Pageants are unlike what you typically think of when you hear the word "pageant". This pageant is NOT a beauty pageant. All activities and competitions are kept age appropriate; for example, girls under age 12 are not allowed to wear makeup (NAM is NOT like the pageants you see on TV) and there is no swimsuit competition.
The Pageant program is based on inner-beauty as well as poise and presentation. Emphasis is put on the importance of developing self confidence, learning good sportsmanship, as well as setting and achieving personal goals.
Through her participation, Wyntre will:
~ learn how to conduct herself in a job interview (30% of her score)
~ receive coaching and encouragment as she practices building confidence in public speaking (30% of her score)
~ gain poise as she practices conveying confidence through body language, posture, how she carries herself, etc. (30% of her score), and
~ be encouraged to continue her participation in community service (10% of her score)
The Pageant recognizes the accomplishments of each girl (good grades, community service and more are rewarded) while activities encourage her to set goals for her future. She may be asked to travel PA to share her experience, speaking to other girls about building their confidence.
The PA pageant will be held at the Hilton Harrisburg & Towers, One North Second Street in Harrisburg, PA. Wyntre's age group competes August 9th-10th. If she qualifies, she will have the opportunity to attend Nationals held in California this November.
At this time Wyntre is in need of sponsors and is especially in need of support ads.

As a potential sponsor, you are being asked to help her participate in the program by providing a portion of the sponsor fee for this outstanding young lady. As a sponsor, you and/or your organization's name will be featured beside her photo in the state program book. Sponsorship can start with as little as $5!
********************** SUPPORT ADS **********************
You can also support her by purchasing an ad in the National American Miss Pageant Program Book. The ads range from $60 for a business card size (1/10 of a page) to $600 for a full page ad.
Ads can be a personal "shout-out" in support of Wyntre, an ad that represents your business (a business card for example) or an ad that reflects our community which Wyntre is representing at a state and potentially a National level.
Your ad will be tax deductible as a business expense. Professional artists will design your ad from your business card, logo, letterhead, photograph, camera-ready art or whatever you can give me to enable the printer to produce each ad neatly and clearly. The designs may be mailed or emailed to me, but must be submitted by July 16th.
Our goal is to be able to post a total of 30 ads (3 complete pages) however, we can post many more ads (up to 8 pages)!
Please help us to reach this goal by July!
