Help Us Finish the New Tiger Habitat

The tigers are now enjoying their new habitat thanks in part to all the generous people that donated to the project. Both monetarily and physically. However, there is still some final we would like to complete. We still want to add a large viewing window so that visitors and come face to face literally inches away from the tigers. The estimate for the glass alone is $1360. So if you can help us it would be great.

Miko can't wait to be in his new enclosure. Just $5 can help make it happen.

You can be part of an exciting project at GarLyn Zoo. We are in the process of building a new enclosure for our two tigers, Miko and Katerina. The project was started in the fall of 2013 and is about 1/2 complete. Total cost of the new enclosure is around $12,000.00 of which we would like to raise the final $6000.00. The new enclosure is over 4 times the size of the one they are presently in. We still need to finish it this spring and could use help with some of the funding of the project. We are a seasonal zoo and are closed all winter but the animals all still need to be cared for and fed every day. This leaves us a little short on funds for expansion come spring, so if you would like to help, even in a small way, it is greatly appreciated.

Update 5/8/2014:
The enclosure is coming together now that the snow has finally melted. The top portion of the enclosure is done on 3/4 of the perimeter. Next will be the den and pool.
