Help Mike Walk Again
Donation protected
Having Marfan Syndrome I had arterial surgery and an aortic valve implanted in early 2013. This resulted in blue toe syndrome which in turn required all 10 toes to be amputated in May of the same year.
The left foot healed fine after the graft, but the right foot has had one complication after the other. Infections, and a dime size hole in the graft as of November leaves the foot not healing.
They're calling it a "diabetic ulcer", though I don't have diabetes.
My doctor says that a specific cream (Regranex) is needed to help with the granulation healing process.
Since I have been unable to walk or work for the last nine months,
I am asking for help to pay for the prescribed ointment, special walking shoes, and medical bills since my medical insurance was recently cancelled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a whole new perspective for those in a wheelchair or disabled. I am greatly looking forward to walking again and getting back to work.
