Rally for Mike's Cancer Fight

My amazing uncle Mike Davis is 50 years old and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Throat Cancer earlier this year. For those of you who know him, you know that he is many things to many people; he is a son, a brother, a husband, an uncle, and his favorite title by far is a father. All these labels add up to an extraordinary human being who is caring, loving, and unbelievably strong.

Mike has been bravely fighting this cancer in private. He has completed his course of chemotherapy and radiation, not without a huge struggle. He and his family have had to spend countless hours at doctors’ appointments not to mention hospital visits. He will have a follow up PET scan in 3 weeks to determine his progress.

Because of this, he has been unable to work and will likely not be able to return to full capacity for a while. Life doesn’t stop just because you are fighting with cancer, the bills keep coming in, and you still need to put food on the table. Money will continue to get tighter for Mike and his family.

Mike is one of the strongest, most selfless people I have ever known and is always there to give his love and support or the shirt off his back to anyone that needs it. He has always puts his friends and family before himself and now it is time we return the favor.

Now, it's time that we send back some of that love and support to Mike and his family.  Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated.  Everything we can do to help and surround him with love is what is most important so that he can focus on beating this thing.  Please spread the word.
