Dekalb PO Miguel Anchundia Fund

We are the Anchundia Family. My name is Leonardo Anchundia. Miguel Anchundia was a Police Officer in the Dekalb County Police Department, where he served the community in stopping crime and making everyone feel safe. Miguel was also a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served to protect the freedom we have in our country. Miguel was also my brother. This past Friday, August 11th, 2017, he was taken away from us unexpectedly due to heart failure. Miguel, was in all aspects an amazing human being, Police Officer, brother, father, son, cousin, and neighbor. We've received numerous requests from generous families and individuals who would love to donate some funds, that would go to his three kids who are 14, 11, and 8 years old. The funds would be used as a college fund for them, for when they're 18 and ready to continue their studies at a university level. The funds would also help them with expenses that they may encounter throughout the years in between which Miguel would no longer be able to provide them with. Our hearts go out to all who've helped our family and the entire Police Department of Dekalb County for all of their support in this tragically sad time in our lives.

Once the withdrawals are taken from the campaign, they will be put into individual bank accounts for each of my brother's sons and daughter so that it could gain interest in a college fund that will be set up by my mom (their grandmother). I'm their uncle and just trying to make sure they have some help into creating an amazing educational future for themselves.
