Help support Matt & Val!  Read Emmett's story below...

Emmett Barlow was born on November 4th, 2012 with a very rare condition - Pallister Hall Syndrome - and a large list of associated conditions. Emmett was the only child of Matthew and Valerie Barlow of Coatesville, PA. Unfortunately, Emmet was never able to come home to Coatesville with Matt and Val. On February 7th, 2013, he snuggled with his Mommy and Daddy one last time, and peacefully went home to Heaven.

"Mighty Em" called CHOP his home during those 3 short months. During that time, Matt and Val called The Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia their home. Emmett underwent 3 surgeries in as many months during his fight with Pallister Hall Syndrome. He was under constant hospital care (ventilation tubes, feeding tubes, blood tests and transfusions, etc.).

Any proceeds from this page will go toward the outstanding medical bills that Matt and Val have from the care of Emmett. If the proceeds exceed the cost of the medical bills Matt and Val will be able to donate the remainder to CHOP, Ronald McDonald House, or research for PHS.

You can read about Emmett's story in the beautiful blog that his father and mother wrote at www.carepages.com. Search for emmettbarlow (all one word).

Thank you for your generosity and kindness!
