Launch a West African Drum & Dance Fest

OUR GOAL: To Launch a West African Dance and Drum Festival in Champaign-Urbana.
Hello, I along with Djibril Camara and Mara Thacker are working together to launch Midwest Mandeng, a festival of West African drumming and dance that will be held in the Champaign-Urbana area from September 12-14, 2014.
We have raised $4350 from grants and other donations, and we need additional $3000 support to make this plan a reality. Can you help us reach our goal?
The suggested donation levels are not strictly for registration but are a way to help raise additional needed funds for this event.
The artists will include:

Moussa Traore Djeneba Sako
Assane Seck Djibril Camara
Abass Camara
The C-U West African Drum & Dance Collective is dedicated to sharing and celebrating the rich traditions of West African drum and dance with the Champaign-Urbana community and beyond. We do this by supporting weekly dance classes, organizing special workshops with visiting guest instructors, and organizing our annual Midwest Mandeng Festival in the fall which attracts visitors from all over the region to study with world class master drum and dance instructors from West Africa. We are committed to being inclusive and invite participation in our events from all members of our diverse community.
