Help MAH Girl's Basketball Teams Travel

On behalf of the Mid Atlantic Heat Organization, we would like to thank you for taking time to consider our request for a donation for our girl’s AAU basketball teams. We are focused on teaching and training girls in the fundamentals of basketball with an emphasis on preparing them for the next level of play in high school and hopefully college. As a non-profit youth organization we rely on support from dedicated organizations and individuals such as you. We appreciate any amount of monetary contribution to our program. Funds are used to pay for equipment, practice facilities, tournament fees and traveling expenses. All funds raised go directly to our program as our coaches, managers, and mentors are non-paid, dedicated volunteers. Mid Atlantic Heat AAU coaches and administration, are committed to the process of preparing our players to becoming the best they can be academically and encourage them to be opportunistic to the idea of performing as an athlete on a collegiate level. Our approach is focused entirely on individual skill development, as we believe that this ultimately transitions into success for the team and a stronger self- image for each player. We are strongly committed to teaching leadership skills, teamwork and building social and moral values. We also strive to ensure college athletic scholarships which without would hinder our players from attending any higher education based facility. For the 2020 season, the Mid Atlantic Heat players are scheduled to participate in a variety of AAU and college exposure tournaments up and down the east coast. These tournaments are certified by the NCAA and create an environment for student athletes to showcase their talents to a variety of college scouts and coaches. Although our fund raising efforts through the parents and players help aid in tournament, equipment, travel, and gym costs, we are also in need of your donation.
