Mick was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2014 that responded well to therapy and he has been in remission for a long time. Unfortuantely, the cancer has come back and he will need extensive surgery and aggressive therapy in the very near future.

Although Mick has insurance, there are still a lot of out-of-pocket expenses  associated with treatment and taking care of their family's needs. Both Mick and Vicki will be taking time off from work while he recovers. 

We as friends, coworkers, and extended family are not able to combat the cancer ourselves, but we are hoping to meet their daily needs so that Mick, Vicki and their family can focus their energy on loving and taking care of each other.

For those of you who work at Salmon Creek, we will be accepting donations in the ICU. 100% of the money collected in ICU will go directly to Mick and Vicki.
