UPDATE: Since creating this post, the church planning the Dominican Republic mission has since pushed it back to some time in the fall, thus I will not be doing that mission or need to raise the money this summer. I am still going to Haiti this summer and hope and pray that God will do as much through my efforts as possible.

I have the wonderful opportunity this year to go to Haiti to help the local people and provide an avenue for the teaching of the Gospel to people that may have never heard it before!

I have an Aunt and Uncle that regularly go and build homes/do a Vacation Bible School style Gospel teaching at Cite Soleil. They teach around 250 local children each time they go. Every morning we will do the VBS Gospel teachings then do work projects in the afternoons to help the community. This trip will be working with Haiti Outreach Ministries.

This will be my first trip of missionary work that I have ever done and am extremely excited and hopeful for the good that will come from it!

I will be in Haiti, July 22nd-30th. My trip will cost $1600.
