Michael's Medical Expenses

I am here today to raise funds for the medical bills and living expenses of Michael Vandenberg, my ex-husband, good friend and father of my two sons. Even though we are divorced, we have worked hard and are actually the best of friends. Michael has been in the hospital, in ICU, for a week now with an, as of yet, undefined blood infection and treatment has been a challenge at best.  As of today, we do not know how long he will be in there or when he will be able to return to work. Michael is a self-employed soundman on the  NewJersey music circuit.  He's been with the same band for the better part of 22 years. Those who know about self employement and the music scene, know if you do not work, you do not get paid. 

Michael is a proud man and would probably not be very happy with me doing this for him but he has no health insurance and is amassing significant medical bills and it is a chance I am willing to take. I wish I had the power to make him healthy again but I am simply helpless with that, so this is the best I CAN do for him. And I am sure he will forgive me at some point.

If you know Michael as a friend or have had the priviledge of working with him, you know he has the biggest heart and gives of himself whenever he can. If you are in a position to help, please consider donating to his cause. If you are not able, please at least keep him in your prayers, positive thoughts or whatever power of healing you believe in.
