Michael Randolph is my neighbor. He is an amazing husband, father, son, and friend. God has used his life story to touch many lives along the way and I know this time is no different...When Michael was two years old he was ran over by a lawnmower in a public park which destroyed the bottom of his leg. Throughout his life he has had over 17 surgeries and had to learn coping skills on how to live his life through the pain, medications and infections.As Mike is now in his mid-30s, some strategic decisions have been made to improve his quality of life. Over much prayer and begging God for answers the discussion to amputate his leg below the knee had begun in the spring of this year.The decision is not easy to amputate his leg, but God's timing for this to happen has been gently revealed as Michael and Jenny have placed their trust in the capable hands of God. The surgery is scheduled for July 15, 2014. His right leg will be taken approximately 2-3" below the knee. He will then be going through physical therapy and be fitted for a prosthetic.Financially this is a huge burden. As you can clearly imagine the insurance will not be covering the entire procedure or the prosthetic. Jenny has been and will continue to financially support the family. Prayer for strength, endurance, peace and Gods provisions regarding their finances is appreciated so much.Thankfully (and I mean this with all my heart), Michael and Jenny love The Lord almighty with all of their hearts, their trust is in Jesus and his atoning work on the cross. He knows this is a temporary place and his eternity in Glory will be with a perfection in the righteousness of Christ. Mike is not defined by his injury or this surgery. He knows this is clearly part of a much bigger story. Gods love has been transferred through their family and is touching so many lives. My prayer is that through his journey and journaling on Caring Bridge you also will be able to come to a deeper relationship with Jesus and see and experience HIM through the story of MICHAEL RANDOLPH.I have been given front row seats by God to be so blessed beyond words to know them and love them. With technology you also have a front row seat. I pray you don't just watch but actively pursue prayer and whatever God places on your heart to give to this sweet family.Please join me in praying for him, his supporting wife Jenny, and their children Max (8) and Madden(3). Of course all extending...PARENTS, grandparents, brothers and sisters all relatives and friends that God has so graciously put in his life.
