Merrill Cemetery Damage Fund

Lastnight, hundreds of gravestones at the Merrill Memorial and St Francis Cemeteries were vandalized, including stones that were tipped over, smashed, and defaced. Some of the gravestones that were affected date back to the early 1800s and beyond. Since it is normally the families responsibility to fix these stones and the amount of damage is so extensive, I have decided to set up an account to raise money to help fix the gravestones that families can not afford to fix, or those who nobody is around to claim any longer. This event has shaken the community to its core and nobody understands how someone can commit such a ruthless act. We are asking for your help to raise money to give to the Merrill Memorial and St Francis Cemeteries to fund the repairs of those gravestones that family members do not claim or can not afford to repair. The damage here is extensive. *BREAKING 7/30 7:19PM DONOR PUTS UP $5,000 REWARD* *To put funds towards the reward, please donate with a note, stating that you wish for the funds to be set aside for the Reward fund.
