Menefee Story - In This Together

As many of you know, Todd and Edy were hospitalized on March 9 due to complications related to COVID.  Edy was fortunate in making a relatively speedy recovery and was released from the hospital after a week, while Todd is still in an acute care hospital battling with complications of COVID.  He’s been receiving  physical and occupational therapy, all while continuing to wean off the ventilator. Todd has come a very long way from where he was and his progress thus far is nothing short of a miracle from God, he continues to take baby steps each day in the right direction. However, the road to full recovery could be long, and COVID continues to throw “unknowns” their way. 

Todd and Edy have always been hard working people who have put everything into raising their three kids Ryan, Lauren and Joseph (Moo). Todd’s probably most proud that Ryan and Lauren are Texas A&M graduates and Moo is currently a Junior there who also pitches for the A&M Baseball Team. These 3 kids along with Ryan’s wife Taylor have pulled together and done everything they could for their parents, especially when they were both hospitalized.

So with that said, we can all only imagine the financial strain this would put on any of us.  Due to Todd’s inability to work this will have an impact on their financial situation. Everything that Todd and Edy have ever worked for could be at stake because of Covid.

So we are asking if you can help in anyway to ease this “bump in the road”. But more than anything, the family asks that you please continue to pray for Todd’s complete healing. God has heard all of our prayers and he continues to answer them daily.

Todd and Edy will be beyond grateful for any and all support. Due to the uncertainty with COVID and the recovery process or timeline any funds not needed will be used to “pay it forward”.
