Medical bills and funeral for Moises Zhagui

Dear Friends and Family,

As most of you know, our beloved father and husband, Moises Zhagui, tested positive for Covid-19 in late February. Unfortunately, the virus had a devastating effect on his lungs and his ability to breathe. By mid-March he was intubated and put on an artificial lung machine and ventilator. Over many months he struggled to recover. In late June he was removed from sedation is now fully awake. Unfortunately he will remain on the artificial lung machine and ventilator because his lungs are too damaged to work on their own. He will require a lung transplant in the near future. He is building up his strength every day so he can qualify for the transplant.

These funds will be used to pay his on-going medical expenses that aren't covered by insurance.
