Small Local Business gets broken into & robbed

Sadly, we all know his pandemic has shut many businesses down in recent months... however you will find the Owner Chris Sykes and Manager Debbie Koenig of "My Diamond Shoppe" doing whats needed to NOT let that happen to them!! They're working extended hours, offering specials and working extra hard to keep thriving and strong through the tough times because they love their customers #1 both... new and returning ones of many years.

Last Thursday morning around 3am someone broke into the family owned business causing thousands upon thousands of dollars in damages both to the exterior and interior of the store as well as taking thousands of missing items and jewelry. Thank God no one was hurt.. Yes the business has insurance however it is minimal and not enough to cover all the damages let alone the losses plus... probable slow down from this as well right smack in their busiest time of the year just before Christmas, New Year and Valentine's Day.

With his heart of gold... the owner Chris Sykes has been known in the community to donate to multiple organizations each year. He enjoys watching others suceed. Much of the time he doesn't take credit and will even anonymously give. To name a few, these charities have been homeless shelters, local Mckinney Schools & their sports programs as well as individual student athletes trying to help them to accomplish their personal goals where perhaps they otherwise wouldn't have been able to.
I would like to point out he has never done this for recognition or a thank you.

He would never ask for help infact he is unaware im doing this however I wanted to and strongly feel the need to start this GoFundMe for him and his LEGACY. His store. 'My Diamond Shoppe.' They took quite the hit on top of these tough times to boot.

It is Christmas time and I know many are looking to donate to a good cause.  Please consider helping 'My Diamond Shoppe' get back on their feet.
