To all that know our Mary Von/Tia you know how much heart and soul she brings to our lives. Mary would take the shirt off her back to help anyone.
Mary has been fighting stage 4 breast cancer for 10 years now. Unfortunately though, she now needs our help more than ever. Her cancer has started to spread and any of us who know Tia, know her love of life and will to live.
The Siblings and her Mom have begun looking into alternative medicine like the Issels Medical Center in Santa Barbara (issels.com). The cost of this Immunotherapy treatment is overwhelming however ($8,500 a week for a three week treatment) and that barely scrapes the surface not including healthy dinners and other medical procedures. Medical Financial aid is severely lacking as well, so if you could please find it in your heart to help out our fun loving, life living, long time Vail local.
We will continue raising as much as we can so that we can put the funds towards any immunotherapy, Vitamin C IV's and hyperthermia treatment that will help Tia feel better.
